Turn-Ons

My friend Lyzadel of Almost a Writer recently posted about her 10 turn-ons when it comes to other people. I thought about it and decided to try listing down if I had any of my own.

This person...

1. Has to be sweet. Nothing makes me melt faster than someone who would go out of their way to help me and/or make me feel special.

2. Has to have a sense of humor compatible to mine. I have enough sadness to deal with. Let this person be someone who can help me cheer up in times of emotional need.

3. Must not discriminate against others for reasons such as race, gender, sexuality, etc. I am a feminist and if you make sexist jokes at me and expect me to laugh, I will walk away because it's not worth my time to be degraded simply because of who I am. Finding these kind of people is more difficult than it should be, and it makes me sad.

4. Must be kind to animals. If you smack one around for no good reason, that says a lot about how you could treat another person, and I don't want that. I also just like seeing someone be affectionate and making cute faces and sounds petting and giving love to a cat or a dog. <3

5. Must be creative in some way, especially if this person likes to draw as well. I want someone who can appreciate art and share in the creative process with me.

6. Likes music, and won't mind singing their favorite songs to me.

7. Has a beautiful, radiant smile. <3 Nothing makes my heart skip a beat than seeing someone I like genuinely happy, especially if it's because of me.

8. Must care about me, including the less desirable problems I have. If you only want me when I'm happy and won't be there when I need you, then, no.

9. Must like to hold hands and cuddle. If you hate physical contact, we're not going to work out. I like to shower people with affection and have it given in return.

10. I don't know what it is about smell and its scientific data, but if this person smells nice, I will probably be enamored with you even more.

I'm not sure if some of these count as turn-ons as they are more qualities I look for in a partner. Luckily for me, I already have a partner who fits all of these criteria, and much more. <3
